If we were to compress the millions of years since the beginning of life on earth in a 24H timespan, when in that scale of time would man arrive ?
Every day, we "see" the world and it's contents but do we "read" that world or it's contents or do we just give a casual glance ?
A Kinetic work. The transposition of "a life" as a luminous circle, with its intense moments and its dark ones...
Everyday, large surfaces of the forest vanish, burned by man, eager to generate money or simply to plant seeds in the ground... However, the lungs of the earth will not last Ad vitam eternam. A levitation work.
My own personal color code. Every work I create must comply with the significations written down, etched in the metal disc, for each colour.
A different form of "suspended reading". Here, words are stamped in the metal, forming an "unreadable phrase"...
A mere "play of thoughts".
The traditional word is "sculpture", an art creation that can be viewed "all around".
And yet, all my work is aimed at conveying a "thought" that precedes the "form".
Therefore, it seemed appropriate to me to accentuate this intention to distract from the "form" and privilege the concept.
Thus this play of thoughts as whilst these works all carry at least one meaning, they also undoubtedly have a "form".
